The circulation desk operator is able to quickly issue patron loans, renew patron loans, and process loan returns from almost any device, anywhere, including a conventional circulation desk. Loans are issued to patrons based on their access rights and associated loan rules, or by applying a common due date to a batch of loans. A full history of each patron's loans is recorded in their circulation record but is only accessible provided anonymisation has not been enabled.
