Infiniti can generate citations in more than 10,000 different citation styles which may provide your students with an efficient, simple, and suitable way to generate citations for assignments. The citation styles are supplied by the bibliographic community.

For convenience, infiniti has four common citation styles pre-configured. You can edit this list to suit your requirements by adding styles to the list or removing styles from the list. Students maintaining lists of reference books used for assignment reference in their private My Lists space will be able to choose the citation style from the available list. We recommend you maintain a small list of styles to reduce possible student confusion.

Note: Citations will only be as accurate as the accuracy of the bibliographic data of the records cited.

  1. If a student recorded or added a book or a reference URL to a list in My Lists, citations for all or some of the those items on the list are available to when the list is opened.
  2. If a student uses a book or reference URL but dose not add it to a list, citations for such items can be found if the student searches the catalogue for the item, accesses the item's details, and clicks the citations tab on the details page.
  3. If a student borrows a book for assignment references and does not add it to a list, citations for such items can be found if the student opens their Profile, opens their Loan History, clicks on the title in this list, accesses the item's details, and clicks the citations tab on the details page.
