Infiniti supports Bolinda BorrowBox by allowing you to integrate your subscription to this source of eBooks and eAudiobooks into your Federated Search.


Important: Some of your patrons may have current or historical accounts with Bolinda BorrowBox either through another library or through current school accounts. Registering them again with new accounts will result in these patrons having two separate accounts and therefore two separate identities in BorrowBox. You should check with Bolinda Support to find out how this will impact these students. 


Enable Bolinda BorrowBox In Infiniti


  1. BorrowBox Sites - firstly advise Concord support by ticket that you wish to turn on integration and which BorrowBox site codes/s (eg.  Senior library, Junior Library, all) you require BorrowBox to supply. Concord will obtain site information from them and add those details
  2. Go to: Configure > Integration > BorrowBox
  3.   - switch.
  4. eBook Borrowing Limit -to enable.
  5. eAudiobook Borrowing Limit -to enable.
  6. BorrowBox Patron ID field - choose from Library barcode, Username, or Admin ID.
    Note: A list of all relevant patrons should already have been given to Bolinda.
    When Infiniti submits a patron ID that BorrowBox does not recognise, BorrowBox may create loans against an account that the patron does not access    . 


Who Can See BorrowBox

 

You can choose which patrons will be able to access BorrowBox:

  1. To set Who can see this Integration byclick each Academic Level in the Available selection list to move it to the Selected list. Note: Click to move all displayed patrons.
  2. To set Who can see this Integration byclick each Library Group in the Available selection list to move it to the Selected list.
  3. Click.
